I’m looking at cheap flights to Slovenia and I was wondering what the best airlines are for flights from America, or to fly into one of the neighbouring countries, because other countries close to Slovenia have larger airports with more air traffic.

The best way to get from the States to Slovenia is to fly from JFK or IAD direct to Vienna on Ausrtian Airlines. From there you can connect through, or take the train fron Vienna. It is a nice scenic ride so could be more fun. You can also do the same from Venice.
