    Their native language is Serbian, which is an awfully hard language to learn.
    Most young people there do speak English to some extent, however, as well as French. You can get by using only English, but expect to encounter difficulties when talking to middle aged or elderly people.

    Yes, normally native is Serbian, but except English you can try to understand with anyone talking any other language near Serbia, starting from former Yugoslav republics, even Bulgarian and at the north Hungarian and Romanian.

    It’s Serbian of course, which is a Slavic language and quite a difficult language to learn. If you don’t understand Serbian, don’t worry. Serbian people speak better English then most of Europe.
